The center was taken over by Mrs.Jayashree Chinne, wife of Film Artist Chinne Jayanth in September 2009. Since both Jayashree and Chinne’s family have strong links to Art, Music, and Culture, Kalaa Manjari was born. Kalaa means Art and Manjari means Bunch, so Kalaa Manjari offers a bunch of activities for children under one roof !!!
The center had its inauguration on September 28th, 2009 (Vijayadasami Day) in the presence of innumerable friends, Celebrities and well-wishers.
Jayashree’s family and her husbands family have strong links to Music, Art and culture and hence Kalaa Manjari was born.
Kalaa is Art and Manjari is Bunch and hence a variety of programmes are taught at Kalaa Manjari including Art, Craft, Karate, Shlokas, Public Speaking, Reading, English for Children, Carnatic Vocal, Keyboard, Chess, English Handwriting, and many more.
